PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERT CASE STUDY

While we are all project managers, whether we like it or not, not all of us use all available tools and techniques while managing our projects. There are many reasons for that, such as: - Desire to keep status quo, - Lack of motivation to learn and/or change, - Too much or too little information. The PMBOK lists a number of tools and technique. Let us elaborate on those existing ones and/or add/develop new ones. By providing an input, we will be able to add to existing project management framework a list of tools and techniques that will make our day-to-day efforts easier. Project Management Expert Test is a combination of surveys, questions and case studies that will introduce the advanced project management tools and techniques to the participants. We would like to reach out and get inputs from project managers on the tools and techniques that they find useful and would like to recommend to other project management fellow members. Our GSA Contract #: GS-02F-013AA. Group discounts available.

Power of the Spoken Word + Techniques to Communicate with Impact and Sway

At key moments, even the well trained and educated often fail to be highly effective in their communications (thus frittering away precious opportunities) by not being forceful or cogent enough and instead being too feeble, ill-defined, and perfunctory. By examining a profusion of highly instructive examples (illustrating both exemplary and weak real-life communications, and presented via handouts, video clips, slides, and anecdotes) participants will practice and acquire a vast range of verbal and nonverbal techniques to make their important communications (such as when seeking to influence others in the workplace or when dealing with the outside public) indelible, impactful, and persuasive. Bottom line: This course is most valuable for those whose job description requires, and effectiveness depends upon, successfully influencing, exhorting, and goading a large number of people who are not their direct reports.
