Emotional Intelligence for Project Managers - nice to have or necessity?
Technical know-how is important to an IT project, but it’s not the only factor critical to success. Interpersonal skills can make a real difference in planning, communicating, collaborating, resolving conflict or just about any aspect of leading people to meet the project goals. This is especially critical in today’s environment, where priorities are always competing and continually changing. This workshop uses the lens of an emotional intelligence tool to help participants understand EI in 5 different areas – perceiving, managing, decision making, achieving and influencing. Participants will increase their awareness of how to read and react to emotions, resulting in better outcomes for project delivery.
