Description
Companies today are not only adopting Agile in formal ways, they are attempting to expand Agile across multiple Teams, Programs and at the Portfolio level. In this presentation, two Agile enthusiasts share their expertise and discuss various Scrum, Kanban and Engineering practices used in software development. At the end of the presentation, attendees will be able to: 1. Clearly distinguish between “Agile” and “Scrum” 2. Understand why the Scrum framework is the most widely known of Agile practices 3. Understand how some Organizations are defining Agility and find a common language to gauge where they stand 4. Understand the “Iron Triangle” in Agile initiatives 5. Understand some tools for Agile initiatives and how/when/whether they can help 6. Find where Project Managers “fit in” 7. See examples of creative Kanban Boards and how Teams use them 8. Get perspectives on Agile implementations with examples from different workplaces 9. Understand how Teams scale (Team / Program / Portfolio level)
