Spring 2018 Professional development Day

Description

Whether your organization has a PMO or is contemplating creating one, this course offers key principles that will help establish and mature a PMO. An incremental approach (i.e., “building blocks”) is presented that provides PMO leadership and members with an iterative methodology that focuses on using “manageable changes” to build and improve a PMO to successfully align to and deliver the organization’s strategy. This seminar utilizes a ‘hands-on’ approach, and each student will learn how to complete an individualized roadmap for immediate use in their own PMO. Participants will be provided with the tools to determine which aspects of project, program and/or portfolio management will be most appropriate for their organizations, and the extent to which they should be implemented. Participants will evaluate their organization’s culture and maturity to determine the specific PMO functions needed, and the level of rigor and sequence for implementation.
