Detailed Overview on Cybersecurity best practices, including NIST800-171/53 CMMI-Security areas and CMMC
This brand new course, is designed to teach all the details of the latest and greatest from Cybersecurity best practices, including NIST800-171 which is the basis for the new DoD Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), CERT/SEICMU Resilience Management Model (RMM), CMMI-Safety/Security areas, to the key stakeholders in organizations pursuing use of Cyber and security best practices to build cyber & security resilience, improve org. posture and compliance.
NIST 800-171 has been a standard that is rather popular and includes 14 domains and over 100+ controls that are proven effective in cyber security.
CMMI-Security & Safety areas include three areas for Enabling Safety, Security and Managing Security Threats & vulnerabilities, in the organization's environment, info systems, products/services and processes.
In the CMMC, the intent is to bring all existing models and standard in Cybersecurity under a unified model for Defense contractors and ensure compliance by requiring implementation of CMMC based processes and independent certification appraisals to demonstrate compliance and on-going monitoring.
