Description

The Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) course provides an immersive, instructor-led introduction to the principles, values, and practices of Agile and Scrum as defined by the Scrum Alliance. Over two days, participants gain the knowledge and facilitation skills necessary to serve as effective Scrum Masters and Agile leaders within their organizations. Through a combination of interactive discussions, simulations, and team-based exercises, learners explore the core elements of the Scrum framework—roles, events, artifacts, and rules—and learn how to apply them to deliver iterative value in complex, changing environments. The course emphasizes the Scrum Master’s role as a servant leader, coach, and change agent, focusing on techniques to foster collaboration, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement. Participants develop a deep understanding of Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Reviews, and Retrospectives, and learn to define and uphold the Definition of Done to ensure transparency and quality. By mastering facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills, learners are equipped to build high-performing teams and guide Agile adoption at both the team and organizational level. Upon completion, participants are prepared to take the Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) exam and apply Scrum to create adaptive, value-driven project outcomes.
