Scrum for Operations and DevOps Fundamentals

Description

This course provides a foundational understanding of how Scrum principles can be effectively applied within Operations and DevOps environments to drive agility, improve collaboration, and accelerate delivery. While Scrum is traditionally associated with software development, this course adapts its framework to address the unique challenges and workflows of operations, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.​

Students will explore the core components of Scrum—roles, events, artifacts—and learn how to integrate them with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices, incident management, and infrastructure as code. Real-world case studies and hands-on exercises will demonstrate how to foster a culture of continuous improvement and responsiveness in fast-paced operational settings.​

By the end of the course, participants will understand how to align Scrum with DevOps values and practices to create high-performing, resilient teams that can respond rapidly to change and deliver ongoing value.
