AI Governance for Project, Program and Portfolio Leaders
Description
As organizations rapidly adopt AI from predictive analytics to generative AI project and portfolio leaders must ensure these initiatives are governed responsibly, ethically, and in compliance with evolving regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF). This 14-hour, in-person course equips non-technical leaders with a practical governance framework to oversee AI-enabled projects without needing data science expertise. Participants learn to assess AI use case risk levels, define ethical boundaries, establish human oversight protocols, validate model transparency, manage data provenance, and integrate AI-specific checkpoints into existing governance rituals (stage gates, steering committees, health checks). Through real-world cases (chatbots, scoring engines, automation), they build an AI Governance Playbook including risk classification grids, due diligence checklists, and executive reporting templates. The course bridges the gap between innovation and accountability ensuring AI delivers value without compromising trust.
