Multi-Project Management (IT)
Description
Managing multiple IT projects simultaneously often with shared resources, interdependencies, and competing priorities is one of the greatest challenges for IT managers and PMO leaders. This 21-hour, in-person course provides a practical framework to coordinate, prioritize, and govern a portfolio of concurrent IT initiatives (e.g., application upgrades, cloud migration, cybersecurity, digital transformation). Participants learn to assess resource capacity, manage cross-project dependencies, implement lightweight coordination mechanisms, and maintain visibility without bureaucracy. Through hands-on workshops and real-world simulations, they practice building a consolidated view of work, resolving bottlenecks, and communicating status to executives. Each participant leaves with a Multi-Project Coordination Toolkit, including dashboards, dependency maps, resource allocation grids, and escalation protocols.
