This course is designed for individuals who have on-the-job project management experience regardless of whether their formal job role is project manager, who are not certified professionals, and who might or might not have received formal project management training.
This course enables candidates to develop professionally, increase their project management skills, apply a formalized and standards-based approach to project management, and seek career advancement by moving into a formal project manager job role, as well as to apply for the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
This is a fast-paced training program where we will cover required topic areas like the newly developed 12 Principles and 8 Project Performance Domains, and work on exercises and exams together. It is important that you dedicate a sufficient amount of time to reviewing the weekly course materials and be ready to fully participate and engage during our in-class training sessions.
In addition to attending and participating in the training sessions with your instructor, you will need to complete the online modules to fulfill the required 35 hours of project management education to take the PP exam. This online class provides you with the opportunity to engage with the material we are exploring together at your own pace. Completion of all eleven modules, Lesson Activities, and the PMP Practice Exam are crucial to your success on the actual PMP exam. Review all content, study the materials, take notes, and complete the activities to assess your understanding of the subject matter that is covered.

Before you apply, make sure you meet the following PMP Certification requirements:
- A four-year degree;
- 36 months leading projects;
- 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM Certification
OR
- a high school diploma or an associate's degree (or global equivalent);
- 60 months leading projects;
- 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM Certification.
