Atlassian’s Jira has emerged as the tool of choice for managing agile projects in the enterprise. Atlassian Confluence is a collaboration tool used to help teams to collaborate and share knowledge efficiently. This hands-on course provides a solid foundation for using Jira, Confluence, and Jira and Confluence together.

This two-day Leading SAFe® course teaches the Lean-Agile principles and practices of the Scaled Agile Framework®. Attendees will learn how to execute and release value through Agile Release Trains, how to build an Agile Portfolio, and how to lead a Lean-Agile transformation at enterprise scale. Attendees will gain an understanding of the Lean-Agile mindset and how to apply the principles and practices of SAFe to support Agile teams, programs, program portfolio management, and to coordinate large Value Streams.

This course also gives you the knowledge required to become a Certified SAFe® Agilist, and to lead agile transformation within your enterprise using the Scaled Agile Framework® and its underlying principles of flexibility, lean thinking and product development flow.

Course includes all training materials, SAFe® Certification and registration fees. Students MUST attend ALL sessions of all SAFe courses in order to be eligible to sit for the corresponding SAFe® certification exam

In this two-day course, attendees will gain an understanding of the role of Scrum Master in a SAFe enterprise. Unlike traditional Scrum Master training that focuses on the fundamentals of team-level Scrum, the SAFe Scrum Master course explores the role of Scrum in the context of the entire enterprise, and prepares attendees to successfully plan and execute the Program Increment (PI), the primary enabler of alignment throughout all levels of a SAFe organization. This includes learning the key components of scaled Agile development, how Scrum is facilitated throughout the enterprise, and how to execute iteration planning. Attendees will also discover how to build high performing Agile teams by becoming servant leaders and coaches, and how to coach those teams to deliver the maximum business value that is achievable through SAFe. The SSM certification signifies that attendees are prepared to perform the role of Scrum Master in a SAFe environment, increasing their value to teams and organizations that are implementing SAFe.

Facilitate and enable end-to-end value delivery through Agile Release Trains (ARTs)—and learn how to build a high-performing ART by becoming a servant leader and coach—when you become a SAFe® 5 Release Train Engineer (RTE).

During this three-day course, gain an in-depth understanding of the role and responsibilities of a Release Train Engineer (RTE) in the SAFe enterprise. Through experiential learning, examine the RTE role in a Lean- Agile transformation. Learn how to facilitate ART processes and execution, coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in new processes and mindsets. Explore how to prepare, plan, and execute a Program Increment (PI) planning event, the primary enabler of alignment throughout all levels of a SAFe organization.

Conflict within the workplace is inevitable, particularly within a demanding and unique organizational environment. Yet many are at a loss when trying to manage conflict simply because they haven’t been trained in conflict resolution. Within this highly-interactive course tailored specifically for working professionals, students will gain a clear understanding of conflict, as well as be able to identify their own conflict patterns. Students will be trained to manage disputes positively rather than responding to them on an emotional level. Practical strategies will be presented addressing conflict management, dealing with difficult behavior, and developing trust to minimize potential future conflict. Students will apply their knowledge and be able to achieve tangible results by the end of this impactful class.. Special attention will be given to mediation techniques for leaders. The end results: better work environment, stronger business results, and greater team performance.

In this course, students explore the tools necessary to become an inventive, logical decision-maker. They learn to apply a structured approach to dismantling complex problems and learn how to clarify problems in terms of objectives and issues. They learn how to apply these tools and techniques under duress or difficult situations, and how to deal with their own biases during decision making.

It was once believed that intelligence was the metric that would determine a person's success in the workplace. Intelligence matters because it contributes to your ability to do your job. But intelligence is not the best indicator of whether or not you'll succeed. Your ability to understand and manage your own emotions, and get along well with others, has at least as much impact on your performance and effectiveness as intelligence. In this course, you'll explore strategies to increase your awareness of your emotions, develop your ability to manage your emotions, and improve your social skills.
